Vice President, Quality Control

Joe Karst oversees all aspects of the Corporate Quality Control Program. Further, manages a team of field Qulaity Control Monitors who travel throughout the country to visit individual Government locations to inspect Paragon personnel.  Prior to Karsts’ arrival to Paragon corporate staff he was the Vice President of DC Operations and the Program Manager to Headquarters Department of Homeland Security.  Karst has held positions ranging from Program Manager to the Vice President of National Operations within the corporate security sphere.  Mr. Karst is a retired Colonel in the USAF Security Forces where he held positions on the Air Staff, a nuclear security inspector, Liaison to the US Army Military Police School, and commanded three nuclear capable squadrons and a group. 

Karst holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Texas State University, and a Masters of Arts Degree in Public Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.  Karst is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and was awarded his Certified Protection Professional (CPP) from the American Society for Industrial Security.
