Kevin M. Sandkuhler

In February 2007, Kevin M Sandkuhler, Brigadier General, USMC (Retired), was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Pinkerton Government Services, now Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services (SCIS).  He is based in Springfield, VA and reports to the board of directors for SCIS.

During his 31 year career in the U.S. Marines, BGen Sandkuhler served in many leadership capacities, most recently as Staff Judge Advocate to the Commandant of the Marine Corps from 2001 to 2006, headquartered in Washington D.C.  As the senior uniformed attorney in the Marine Corps, he was responsible for the management of over 800 active and reserve judge advocates and over 3500 support personnel. His accomplishments include: International Negotiations – when he provided advice to the U.S. Delegation in negotiations to strengthen international nuclear safeguards: and Strategic Policy Formation – when he served as a key member of the legal team that formulated legal policies for the Defense Department on issues relating to the Global War on Terrorism.

Mr. Sandkuhler received a B.A. degree from the College of Holy Cross, Worcester, MA in 1975; a J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego in 1981; and a Masters of Law in Government Contract Law from George Washington University, Washington D.C. in 1991.  He is also a 1994 graduate of the U.S. Army War College.

His military honors include: Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Achievement Medal and Navy and Marine Achievement Medal.
