The Department of Homeland Security awarded Paragon Systems a contract to provide security services for federal government facilities throughout the State of Georgia. The contract, which begins on April 1, 2008 and employs over 250 officers, will run for five years at an estimated 11.6 million per year. This award increases the total awards for Paragon to more than $146.2 million for the year ending, surpassing its 2006 contract awards by 101%.

Paragon Systems has been awarded a new contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for armed security services within the State of South Carolina. The contract, which will deploy 100 armed securty officers, begins on November 1st and will run for 5 years at an estimated $2.6 million per year. This award increases the total awards for Paragon to more than $86 million for the first nine months of 2007, surpassing all of its 2006 contract awards.
